Smaller poncho

Knit alpaca or organic merino wool poncho, knit from the natural color of the animal. The undyed fiber is softer and warmer than the dyed fiber, and no chemicals nor excess water are involved in the coloring process.  

This is super soft and warm.  It may be worn a couple of different ways. With the points down the center of your body or with the points covering your arms. 

Approximate Measurements:

-From neck hole to corner 30″/ 79 cm

-From neck hole to flat slide 19″/49cm

-Neck hole 14”/35.5cm measured in a flat line (26″/66 cm in circumference)

You may choose to have the cowl added, or keep it plain.  The cowl may be used as a hood as well.  

Color options for alpaca are shown in the color chart.  Please note, because the colors are the natural colors of the animals, the white is not a bleached white, but more ivory, and the black is not a jet black; it may appear as a very dark brown in some lighting. You may also choose to have it made out of organic merino wool which is a natural white (ivory).  I usually have some dyed organic merino wool also.  The wool is dyed with black walnut husks harvested from our organic farm.  Water is the only other item used in the dying process.  If you are interested in the black walnut dyed wool, please ask to see pictures of the dyed wool available. 

The picture with the curled edges, is how the knitting reacts naturally, and there is no hem.  You may choose hemmed, or curled edges.
