Woodland dress

Knit out of 100% natural, alpaca yarn, or organic merino wool.   The alpaca yarn is not dyed, it is the color of the animals fiber.  Because the yarn is not dyed, the black is not a jet black; it can appear as a dark brown or a dark grey in certain lighting.  Also, the white is not bleached, it is a natural ivory color.  The undyed yarn is softer and warmer than dyed yarn, and adds no toxicity to the earth.  

If you would like the organic merino wool, it comes in the natural, off white.  I dye some every summer with locally, organically grown, black walnut husks.  If interested in the dyed yarn, please contact me before ordering to see availability.

A fun and comfortable dress!  This dress is fun to frolic in, dance through the trees or walk through a park.  You may choose the open, lace up back or a solid, warm knit back.

The dress is knit with 100% animal fiber which can irritate sensitive people in sensitive areas of the body.  Wearing cotton underneath the dress can help with this.

Each item is lovingly, handmade by myself once your order is placed, made just for you : )  please allow 4 to 6 weeks for this item. The lace up back takes a while longer to make than the full backed dress.  If you order the closed back, your order should ship out before 4 weeks time.

FYI…The colors of dresses in the photos are dark brown for the lace up and dark rose grey for the solid back.

Hand wash only when needed.
