Baby/Toddler sweater

This sweater can be knit with either all natural undyed alpaca or organic merino wool. It is sized for a 12-18 month old. The alpaca color choices are shown in the color chart.  These are not dyed, they are the natural color of the animal sharing its fiber. Because the colors are not dyed, the black is not a jet black and the white is off white. If you prefer to have this sweet sweater knit with organic merino wool, it comes in the natural off white, and there are two thickness you may choose-thinner or thicker(fingering weight and sport weight). I dye some organic merino with local, wild black walnut husks. Please ask to see the available dyed yarn if you would like this option.

The colors of the sweaters in the secondary pictures are: first and fourth photo are fawn. The second and sixth are light rose grey. The third and fifth photo show a light brown sweater with a flower design on it. The hems of the sweater will be knit like the hems in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th photos.

You may choose to have pockets on the sweater or just plain. Designs can be embroidered on for an extra charge. The buttons that will be used are coconut buttons. Please note the frog in the pocket does not come with the sweater, if you would a crocheted pocket animal, please message me, the cost is about 65 for the animal (not all animals may be available).

There have been many studies done lately on the benefits of wearing wool/animal fiber. Babies tend to cry less and keep calm when in contact with animal fiber.
