Basic skirt

A skirt knit with 100% alpaca yarn that is naturally the color of the animal sharing it with you. No dyes were used; it is soft and warm. Because the yarn is not dyed, in some lighting, the black can appear as a very dark brown and the unbleached white is ivory in color.  The alpaca color options are shown on the chart page.

This skirt can also be knit with organic merino wool. The wool comes in the natural off white. I dye some every summer with locally, wildly grown black walnut husks. The walnut husks create a range of browns and golds. Please inquire about available dyed yarn if you are interested.

The skirt measures about 18 inches in length when on. You may choose a standard size in the drop down menu or you may send measurements from your body directly if you would rather. The measurements needed are: around your waist and your hips.

This skirt comes with a knit drawstring at the waist.  If you would prefer elastic, please let me know.   The elastic is made with organic cotton and natural rubber, and is completely biodegradable.

Alpaca and merino wool are wonderfully soft fibers, yet they can irritate some people in sensitive areas. Cotton leggings can ease this sensitivity.
