Frolicking skirt

A fun and versatile garment made out of all natural 100% Alpaca, or 100 % organic merino wool. It can be worn as a skirt or a poncho/cape. This listing is for one item that can be worn in a couple different ways.

The Alpaca color options are shown in the color chart. Please realize these colors are not dyed. They are the colors of the animal fiber. Because they are not dyed, the black is not a jet black and does appear to be dark brown in some lighting and the white is not a bleached white, it is almost ivory. Undyed yarn is softer and warmer than dyed yarn, and no chemicals are used.

If you are interested in the organic merino wool, it comes in the natural off white. I dye some every year with organically grown black walnut husks. The walnut husks create a range of brown, gold and almost lavender hues. Please ask to see the color options currently available.

The skirt measures about 18 inches at the curled edges, at the points it is about 20 inches long. The waist size varies according to size.

This is made out of 100 percent animal fiber. The fiber is soft, yet it can irritate sensitive people in sensitive areas. Wearing cotton leggings under the skirt will help with the itch.

Some skirts/caplets are shown with a design on one panel. The design costs an additional $8 and if you would like a design, please let me know in a note a purchase, I will create another listing for you for the the additional 8.00. The design options can be seen in the leg warmer with design listing (please look at all the photos). New designs can be made for an additional fee.

The skirt typically has a drawstring at the waist.  If you would prefer elastic please let me know.  The elastic is made with organic cotton and natural rubber, it is biodegradable.
