Stretchy, rib knit, long, leg warmers

Knit with 100% alpaca yarn. These warm delights are knit with natural, undyed alpaca yarn, or you may opt for organic merino wool! The alpaca colors are the natural colors of the animal, this leaves the fiber warm and soft, and is much nicer to our environment. Because the yarn is not dyed the black is not a jet black; it may appear as a dark brown in certain lighting. The white is also not bleached and is a rich ivory color. You can see the alpaca colors in the color chart. If you are interested in the organic merino wool, it comes in the natural, off white color. I typically have some that I have dyed with wild and organically grown black walnut husks. The walnut husks create different hues of brown and gold. If you would like the dyed wool, please ask to see the available dyed wool.

The regular leg warmers are about 23 inches in length when on, you may choose the longer lengths if you want them longer. If worn when you are moving a lot the bending of the knee can cause them to fall. There is no elastic in these leg warmers! Wearing these over pants, leggings or tights helps to keep them up. Please note that the lengths are approximations. They will be longer on some people and shorter on other people. The lengths in the drop down menu are while on your body : )

The size options are small/narrow for thin legs, medium for medium legs and wider is for wider legs. If you wear an XS or XL+, please send your measurements so they can be made to fit you. THE SIZES ARE MADE TO BE SNUG! This helps them stay up on bare skin. If you plan to wear them over pants or leggings you may want to order a larger size.

These are made with animal fiber which can tend to irritate some people in sensitive areas. Cotton tights or leggings can be worn underneath the leg warmers to help with this.
