Winter woodland dress

This comfy, dress is a wonderful winter addition to your wardrobe.  It has more of an empire waist line compared to the sleeveless woodland dress.  It is knit with 100 % renewable, sustainable, animal fiber.  You may choose between all natural alpaca or organic merino wool.  It makes a really cute holiday dress.

The natural alpaca comes in a range of natural, un-dyed colors.  You may see the color options in the color chart.  Since these colors are not dyed, the black is not a jet black, it can appear as a very dark brown in certain situations.  The white is not bleached, and is close to ivory in color.

If you would like the organic merino wool, it comes in the natural, off white.  I usually have some on hand that I have died with wild black walnut husks.  This creates a range of brown, and golden hues.  Please ask to see the available dyed yarn before purchasing this option.  This dress uses quite a bit of yarn, and I may not have enough of a similar dye batch to knit the whole dress.

You may choose the best size that will work for you in the size menu, or you may opt to send your measurements.  If you would like to send measurements, please measure your body directly.  Here are the measurements needed:

-around waist (narrowest part of torso)

-around hips(widest part)

-around bust(widest part)

-shoulder width, from outer tip of shoulder bone to opposite outer tip of shoulder bone across your upper back.

 

The length of the sleeves for each size are as follows:

XS-19” sleeves

S- 20.5” sleeves

M-22” sleeves

L-22.5” sleeves

XL 23” sleeves

This item is loving made by myself, once you place the order.  It will take about 3-4 weeks to knit this item.

Animal fiber may itch people in sensitive areas.  Wearing cotton clothing beneath it helps with this.

The dress in the photos is knit with the dark grey alpaca yarn.

Hand wash, only when needed.
