XL boat neck sweater

This is a great sweater to wear while cozily sipping a cup of tea, reading a book, snuggled by a fire place, in the winter.  It is an XL, which fits a large range of people.  It can be worn by men or women.  The same sweater is shown in the pictures with different models wearing it.  The sweater is knit with 100% animal fiber yarn.  You may choose to have it knit in alpaca or organic merino wool.

The alpaca yarn is NOT dyed!  It is the natural color of the animals fiber.  The color choices are shown in the color chart.  Since the colors are not dyed, the black is not a jet black.  It can appear as very dark brown in certain lighting and situations.  The white is not bleached, and is near ivory in color.

The organic merino wool comes in the natural, off white.  I dye some every summer with wild black walnut husks.  The husks create a range of brown and golds.  Please ask to see the available dyed options if you are interested.  *Due to the amount of yarn needed for this sweater, there may not be dye batches that are similar enough to knit the sweater in the same color.

This sweater is approximately 50 inches around at the torso.  The length is about 26 inches from the shoulder to the waist, and the sleeves are about 22 inches long from shoulder seam to wrist.  All edges have the natural curl of plain knitting.

*This neck line is now made with a more narrow opening along the shoulders than is shown in the pictures.

This item takes about three weeks to knit.  I, personally, will lovingly, make this sweater once you place your order.

This is a hand wash when needed item.

Animal fiber may itch people in sensitive areas.  Wearing cotton underneath it can help.

The sweater in the pictures is knit with rose grey alpaca.  The model in the first and last pictures is five foot seven inches.
