Forest hat

Short and cute, pointy knit hat.  This hat is tied on around the neck to keep you warm and so you don’t loose it easily.  If you don’t need the hat on, you can hang it down your back.  

This is knit with 100% alpaca yarn or organic merino wool.  The alpaca yarn has not been dyed.  The colors are the colors of the animals fiber.  Because the yarn is not dyed the black yarn can appear as a super dark brown or a dark gray in certain lighting.  The white is not bleached either and is ivory in color.  I find the un dyed yarn to be warmer and softer than dyed yarn.  Also, it is much kinder to our environment. The natural alpaca colors are shown in the color chart.  The organic merino comes in the natural off white. I dye some every summer with natural, wild crafted black walnut husks.  If you are interested in the dyed yarn, please inquire to see what color options are available.
