Over the top sweater

The over the top sweater is a cute, wonderfully snuggly and cozy sweater!  I prefer to wear it over another top, but I guess you don’t have to 😉. It is knit with 100% natural alpaca yarn or 100% organic merino wool yarn.  The colors for the alpaca yarn are shown on the color and size chart page.  These colors are not dyed! They are the natural colors of the animals sharing them.  Because the yarn is not dyed, the black is not a jet black, it can appear as a dark brown in certain lighting.  The white is a natural white which is near ivory.  If you would like the organic merino wool, it comes in natural, off white.  I usually have some that I dye each summer with organically grown (and wild) black walnut husks.  The dyed wool comes in a range of brown and golden colors.  Please ask to see pictures of the dyed wool available.  

The over the top sweater has one button (or clasp) to bring the sides together in the middle of your torso.  The button is a coconut shell or wooden button, there is also the option of the clasp.  I will make the sweater with a button unless you specifically state that you would rather the clasp when you make your purchase.  Please note that the leaf clasp is no longer an option.

Please see the size chart as a reference to which size you should order.  If you do not fit into standard sizes, you may send me your measurements in a note at purchase.  Please send your measurements if you are smaller than a XS or larger than a XL. There may a surcharge for XXL and larger.

The sweater is knit with animal fiber which can irritate sensitive people.  Wearing cotton underneath it helps with the itch.
