Pixie skirt

A cute skirt that is perfect for covering your bum in the winter, fall and spring.  Works really well with leggings of all sorts or long leg warmers.  

This skirt is knit with all natural alpaca fiber or organic merino wool, your choice.  The color options for the 100% alpaca yarn are shown in the color chart.  These colors are not dyed, they are the natural colors of the animals.  Because of this the black is not a typical dyed black, it can appear as dark brown in certain lighting.  The white is also not bleached, it is almost ivory.  

If you would like the organic merino wool, it comes in the natural off white.  I dye some every year with wild, black walnut husks.  The husks create a range of brown, golden and tan coloration.  If you are interested in the dyed wool, please ask to see the current selection of dyed yarn.  Please note that the dyed yarn when knit has horizontal striping that occurs.  This is due to hand dye process with natural pigment.  The lighter colors tend to have less striping than the darker colors.  

The lengths of the skirt at the shortest part are:

The extra small skirt is about 10 inches 

The small is about 11 inches 

Medium is about 12 inches 

Large is about 13 inches 

XL is about 14 inches

This skirt comes with a knit drawstring at the waist.  If you would prefer elastic, please let me know.  The elastic is made with organic cotton and natural rubber and is completely biodegradable.

This is a hand wash item, only when it is needing to be washed.  It is knit with 100% animal fiber which can tend to irritate sensitive people, in sensitive areas.
