Rib knit-stretchy leggings

Made just for you – these alpaca pants are soft and cozy. They are super stretchy to allow easy movement. They can be made in any natural alpaca color, no dyes are used. I do not use dyed yarn due to the chemicals involved in the dying process, and because the yarn is not as warm or soft once dyed.  See the color chart for alpaca colors, please note that since the colors are not dyed the white is ivory in color and the black can appear as a very dark brown in some lighting.  

If you would like them in organic merino wool that is a possibility too, in natural white, or I usually have some organic merino wool dyed with organically grown black walnut husks which were harvested on our farm. The walnut husks will produce a range of rich brown colors. Please ask to see pictures of wool dyed with black walnut.  The organic merino wool is fingering weights which is a slight bit thinner than the alpaca.  

 There is a drawstring at the waist to hold them up. There is usually about a pound of fiber in each pair.  If you would rather elastic at the waist please say so in a note at purchase.  The elastic is made with organic cotton and natural rubber. It is completely biodegradable.

There is a ‘one size fits’ most option in the drop down menu, which you may choose for ease and to give as a gift.

These can be made for men as well as women.  I apologize that your sizes aren’t in the drop down menu, please send your measurements.  Or you may order the nearest size in the women’s sizes.  The last photo shows a male wearing a pair.  

Women, you may order your size from the drop down menu (check the size chart in the pictures) or if you don’t fit in the standard sizes, you may send you measurements. The measurements I need are (please measure your body directly):

 

-Inseam- it is recommended to have someone help with this measurement. 

-Knee to ankle 

-Front rise (bottom of crotch to where you want the waist line)

-Back rise (bottom of crotch to where you want the back waist line)it is nice to have someone help with this one. 

-Around the waist (where you want the waist line)

-around your hips (widest point)

-around thigh (widest point)

-around knee

-around ankle

I will need to know if the waist line you want is high, low or mid range.  Is it above, below or at your belly button?  With these pants/leggings I recommend that the waist lay lower at the hips or just above the buttocks. The weight of the knit can make it feel as if the pants are falling down, so they need a good place to hold them up.

Each item is lovingly, handmade by myself once your order is placed.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for shipping. I will let you know if for some reason this time period can’t be met. 

The alpaca is super soft, yet sensitive people can find it a bit itchy in sensitive areas.
