Thick, two layer, reversible hat

Keep your head super, toasty warm and the wind out of your ears with this cozy cap.  Two layers of knitting to make a nice thick hat.  Two hats in one!  If you want the slouchy hat, it can be folded up around your ears to create four layers of warmth.  You may choose two colors or it can be made with one color on ‘inside’ and ‘outside’.  The alpaca color options are shown in the color chart.  These colors are NOT dyed! They are the natural colors of the animal fiber.  Because of this the white is close to an ivory color and the black is not a jet black and sometimes can appear as dark brown in contrast to dyed black, especially in certain lighting.  

You may choose to have one side of the hat in one color and the other side in another color, or you may choose to have the entire hat knit in the same color.  If you would like it all one color, please choose the same color for both color choices.

You may opt for organic merino wool.  This comes in the natural off white, and I dye some every summer with organically and wild grown black walnut husks.  If you are interested in this option please message me to see the current, available colors.  

This hat is knit entirely with animal fiber.  Some, sensitive people find it a bit itchy.
