Your favorite sweater remade

Do you have a favorite fitting sweater that may be old and falling apart, or made out of cotton and you would like it warmer?

I am happy to remake your sweater in the natural alpaca color of your choosing, or organic merino wool. The alpaca color choices are all from the natural color of the animals. No dyes used! This keeps the yarn softer, and warmer, and less chemicals involved. Because the yarn is not dyed, the black is not a jet black; it may appear as a very dark brown in some lighting. The white is, also, ivory in color since it hasn’t been bleached. You may also choose to have your sweater made out of organic merino wool. This come in white (natural ivory).

So how does this work? Once you have purchased your new sweater to be made, I will send you my address. You then can mail your sweater to me. I will then replicate the style and size of the sweater in the alpaca color you choose. I will mail both sweaters to you when your new sweater is complete.  Please allow six weeks for me to remake the sweater once I receive yours.

There are different prices for different types of sweaters. Cardigans are more than pull overs. The prices are for plain or ribbed knit sweaters. Cables knits can be done, and are much more expensive. Designs and stripes knitted into the sweater will be more as well, the prices shown are for plain knit sweaters. Please send a message to discuss cable knit and designs on sweaters. Extra large sweaters are more as well.

Please note…. I will make your new sweater to mimic the sweater you send to me. Because of different sizes of yarn and types of knit, the new sweater may hang or fit a bit differently when on. The size of the yarn and the stitches may vary as well. If you would like to see a sample of the knitting please see the sample listing. The size of yarn and stitches will most likely be a bit different from your original sweater or shirt.

Alpaca is a natural animal fiber. Natural animal fibers have many healing properties, yet can itch sensitive people.
